1st Logo (March 10, 2000-September 8, 2001) | 2nd Logo (December 2, 2003-2007) | 3rd Logo (August 24, 2007-) |
1st Logo (March 10, 2000-September 8, 2001)
Visuals: Inside a white rectangle on a black background, a horseman poses in front of a tilted red "B", with his blade raised. Above the rectangle, we have "BATTLE PLAN" and below, "P R O D U C T I O N S".
Technique: None.
Audio: None. A international print of The Contender uses the final few seconds of the DreamWorks Pictures theme over this logo for unknown reasons.
Availability: Seen on Deterrence, The Contender and Scenes of the Crime.
2nd Logo (December 2, 2003-2007)
Visuals: There is the horseman from before raising his blade on a white background, while his horse slowly rears. At the same time, a big red "B" condenses in the background and "BATTLE PLAN" with "P R O D U C T I O N S" rapidly fly to their positions below.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: A short trumpet fanfare or the closing theme. Episodes 8-13 of Commander in Chief use the second half of the Steven Bochco Productions theme over this logo.
Availability: Seen on Line of Fire, Commander in Chief and the failed pilot of I'm Paige Wilson.
3rd Logo (August 24, 2007-)
Visuals: There is an extra-close shot of the paper sheet. Suddenly the clipper of a typewriter stamps the letter "B", and we move by the sheet to follow other letters stamping until it forms
P R O D U C T I O N S
Once it's done, the logo rapidly zooms out and then vanishes.
Technique: Live-action.
Audio: The sounds of stamping.
Availability: Seen on Resurrecting the Champ, among possible others.
