Background

Bel-Air Program Sales was created in October 1984 by Brian Firestone, Bob Cohen, and Chuck Barris as Chuck Barris' television distribution arm of Barris Industries, Inc. Bel-Air Program Sales was renamed to "Barris Program Sales" on April 8, 1987. Bel-Air Program Sales is not to be confused or has no relation with Bel-Air Productions or Bel Air Entertainment.
