Background

Bell Video Grand S.A. was formed by Pablo Bellini in 1987 as an offshoot of his film label Bell Films S.A., and distributed material from Empire Pictures. It also had sublabels Buena Onda Home Video S.A. and Godfather Video Gram S.A., although only Buena Onda kept, while the others shut down in 1992, until its closure in 1994.

(1987-1992)

Logo: On a black background, a white box spins out with a trailing effect (think of the Medusa Communications logo). It stops. Inside the box a series of colored dots appear. The box later spins into the screen, disappearing all the trails that it made, and itself, while more dots appear and reveal an orange/green/blue "BV" with a yellow trail behind. A pink dot marquee appears around the logo. "BELL VIDEO GRAND S.A.", in silver, flies in from below.

Technique: The movements, trails and appearances, the name flying in.

Music/Sounds: A synth bell theme.

Availability: Found on most videocassettes from them in Argentina.
