'''BigSky Interactive''' was an American video game developer founded in 2002 by several former members of the American arm of [[Kalisto Entertainment]] after the company filed for bankruptcy in April 2002. The company was based in Round Rock, Texas. BigSky landed a deal with [[THQ]] and produced two games based on Nickelodeon properties before shutting down in March of 2003; the GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions of ''Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius'' and ''SpongeBob SquarePants: Revenge of the Flying Dutchman''. Contrary to popular belief, a game-breaking glitch in the PlayStation 2 port of ''Revenge of the Flying Dutchman'' was not a major factor in the demise of the company. Corporate politics and trouble they encountered during the development of ''Revenge of the Flying Dutchman'', along with them declining an offer to be purchased by THQ, led to BigSky getting blacklisted by then-CEO of THQ, Jeff Lapin, and ultimately shutting down due to financial issues.
