Background

Big Hit Music (Korean: 빅히트 뮤직; formerly Big Hit Entertainment) is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2005 by Bang Si-hyuk. Currently the company manages soloist Lee Hyun and boy groups BTS and TXT.

Big Hit Entertainment

1st Logo (June 6, 2013-November 19, 2020)

Logo: We see a white environment where we move back from a trail of multiple spherical bumps which emerge from the surface, and then the camera rotates into perspective, revealing the text "Big Hit" in the Twentieth Century font forming sideways with the byline "Music & Artist for Healing" in the same fashion. As the camera moves back, the sphere trail is shown swirling to form the dot of the "i" from "Big", and another trail appears below, settling into the "i" from "Hit". The letters rotate to the front, and as the other trail settles into the "i" of "Hit", the background turns a little darker, and the byline morphs into the word "Entertainment" in a typewriter-style font. A shadow appears behind the logo.

Technique: 3D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: An evolving synthesizer pad note with multiple waterdrop-like sounds.

Availability: Common. Seen on all BTS music videos since the teaser of "No More Dream" up to the teaser of "Film Out", and early TXT music videos from "Crown" to "Way Home (Eye Contact ver.)".

2nd Logo (2018)

Logo: We fade in to the words "Big Hit" with the dots in "i" are high in Twentieth Century bold font, and "Entertainment" in Courier New bold font.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on BTS: Burn The Stage.
