Background

Big Sky Motion Pictures was a film production company founded in by Mars Callahan and Rand Chortkoff. In 2008, the company as well as its founders were given desist-and-refrain orders from illegally selling securities for the movie Spring Break '83. After continued violations, Rand Chortkoff , as well as a few others, were charged for committing securities fraud to attract investors.
