Background

Bikash Ray Productions Pvt. Ltd. was an Indian Bengali-language film company in the 1950s by film director Bikash Ray.

1st Logo (12 February 1959)

Logo: On a black background with smoke, we see the company name in Bengali in a black trapezoid, with two halves of a circle above and below it. There is more Bengali text above the trapezoid. All of this is carved in stone.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: A long dark sound with a trumpet, which is played three times.

Availability: Only seen on Marutirtha Hinglaj.

2nd Logo (Late October 1969)

Logo: On a white background, we see the same concept from the previous logo but all in black.

Technique: None.

Audio: Same as the previous logo, except it is played once and higher pitched.

Availability: Only seen on Basanta Bahar.
