Background

This is the vanity card of Bill Oakley & Josh Weinstein, who previously worked together as showrunners for The Simpsons before creating this company.

1st Logo (September 21, 1999-August 11, 2002)

Logo: Characters from Mission Hill are shown animated on the screen, depending on each variant shown. "A BILL OAKLEY/JOSH WEINSTEIN PRODUCTION" appears on top or the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

Variants: There were four variants of this logo:

  • Variant 1: Ron yelling the company name at Andy and Gwen.
  • Variant 2: Stoggy is up close at the screen with a sign of the company name around his neck. Andy whispers the company name in a dramatic fashion.
  • Variant 3: Andy turns to the viewer and says the company name. Jim chugs Andy's drink while the latter's back is turned, leaving Andy surprised as he turns his back around.
  • Variant 4: Kevin is on his computer downloading a picture of a scantily clad woman while he turns to the viewer to say the company name. Once he realizes what he is doing, he gets startled and covers the computer screen, leaving him embarrassed. Sometimes the URL for the show is seen below.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: Just the characters saying the company name.

Availability: Seen on Mission Hill.

2nd Logo (September 11, 2003-March 17, 2004)

Logo: On a black background, we see two cups with the left reading "BILL OAKLEY" and on the right reading "JOSH WEINSTEIN" with the words "A" and "PRODUCTION" on top and on the bottom respectively, in an Ad Lib font. Two of the red straws move.

Variant: A zoomed in version exists.

Technique: Live-action.

Music/Sounds: A slurping sound.

Availability: Seen on The Mullets on UPN.

3rd Logo (April 27, 2005)

Logo: On a white background, we see the colored lines of the subway station. Next to "A" is "Bill Oakley", next to "B" and "C" are "Josh Weinstein", and next to "D" is "Productions".

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: The sound of the train at the subway station.

Availability: Seen on the failed pilot of the untitled Oakley/Weinstein project, which is possibly called Times Square.

4th Logo (2007)

Logo: Just the text "A Bill Oakley/Josh Weinstein Production" on a cyan background.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on the failed pilot of Business Class.
