Background
Blake Edwards Entertainment was the production company of director, writer and producer Blake Edwards.
Logo (December 9, 1982-March 27, 1987)
Visuals: "BLAKE" slides in from the right and "EDWARDS" from the left in a clear font. The two words then cross over each other and the screen zooms in on the "A" once that letter from both words are on top of each other. We then see a red "A" and it reveals the word "ENTERTAINMENT" with "BLAKE" on the left and "EDWARDS" on the right, both of them being in a white font.
Variant: An in-credit logo is seen at the end of some films like Blind Date with the initials "B.E.E.".
Technique: 2D text animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: The only known film with the animated logo is Trail of the Pink Panther.
