Background
Defunct video rental store Blockbuster used to issue some exclusive videocassettes throughout the mid-1990s.
1st (known) Logo (1990s)
Visuals: On a grayish marble background is the Blockbuster Video "ticket" logo. The logo "shines".
Technique: CGI.
Audio: None.
Availability: Seen only on Blockbuster Video VHS releases.
2nd Logo (2000)
Visuals: The screen fades to a white-cream background. As the logo fades in the background "dissolves" to reveal a glowing Blockbuster logo against a sky blue background.
Technique: A dissolving effect.
Audio: A synthesized whoosh like noise.
Availability: Only seen on the Blockbuster Customer Service instructional video.
