1st Logo (1956?-1980)

Logo: A in-credit notice, the blocky letters "BBA" are seen, with "A BOB BANNER ASSOCIATES PRODUCTION" below it.

Variants: Most of the time, there's no logo to speak of, just text mentioned. Sometimes, the "BBA" has points, and the text just says "BOB BANNER ASSOCIATES".

FX/SFX: Either scrolling with the credits or none.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme or none.

Availability: Very rare. Can be found on the pre-1980 productions, like Bud and Lou.

2nd Logo (1980-1999)

Nickname: "BBa"

Logo: Either on a black background or chroma keyed into the end credits, we see 5 blue circles (2 on the top, 3 on the bottom) draw in a counterclockwise way, and they zoom out slightly to the left middle. Then "bob" appears in red and shines with a spark wipe, as a long line appears to the left of the circles. The same thing happens when "banner" appears, but the line appears in the middle of the circles. "associates" then appears to do the same thing, but the line is half the size and appears to the right of the single circle, forming the letters "BBa". The logo shines afterwards.

Variants:

  • A early version had the "BBa" being much larger, and the text being much smaller. The animation also just had the "BBa" appearing 1st and then the "bob banner associates" text. The logo was also sometimes still. This appeared on the 1st season of Solid Gold, and If Things Were Different.
  • Sometimes, the logo may be still, and was life that from 1988-1992.
  • Starting in 1993, the logo got a bit of an update. The "BBa" is now located at the top middle of the screen, and the text on the bottom, with "Bob Banner" now being properly capitalized. The entire logo also now has a metallic texture and 3D look to it.
  • An animated version of the above variant has lights wiping in the text below, and then the "BBa" forming in a similar way as before, with the circles drawing in and the lines drawing in downwards.

FX/SFX: The circles and lines appearing, the words appearing line-by-line.

Music/Sounds: Either the end theme of the show, or none. The animated later variant has a twinkling synth tune.

Availability: Extremely rare. Appeared on Solid Gold during the 1980-1984 episodes and Star Search from 1983-1988. It also appeared on With Murder in Mind and on the VHS release of Bud and Lou. The later version was first seen on The Sea Wolf, and the animated version on Real Kids, Real Adventures.
