Background

Bomp Productions was a company that produced the direct-to-video series The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth.

Logo (January 1995-February 2, 1996)

Visuals: On a off-white background, there is a pale canary oval. The blue word "BOMP", in a large, bubbly font, falls from the top of the screen and lands (in choppy fashion) on the oval. The word casts a drop shadow underneath. The letters of the blue word "PRODUCTIONS" run from the left and bump into each other. The letters back up a bit for room and start jumping.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A descending whistle (not unlike the cartoon "fall" sound effect) is heard at the beginning as "BOMP" falls down. A slightly deep-voiced male announcer says "Bomp!" when the word lands on the oval. The letters of "PRODUCTIONS" make some weird kiss-like sound effects while running and bumping into each other. A bubbling sound effect is heard when the letters of "PRODUCTIONS" start jumping and plays for the reminder of the logo.

Availability: Only seen at the end of VHS tapes of The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth.
