Although only about 35 developers worked there, Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari, was the Chairman and Michael Katz, former Atari CEO was a paid consultant. After developing a variety of games and technology, Borta, Inc. was sold to Aristo International, later renamed to Playnet.
