Background

Boston Animation was a video game developer based in Stow, Massachusetts, as well as having a Ukraine division for developing games. Games developed by the company were published by Simon & Schuster Interactive.

1st Logo (1999)

Visuals: On a sky blue/white background, there is a large blank space filled with a sketch of Boston's Old North Church, with some of the North End around its edges and a cloud behind the steeple. A small rounded corner borders the top left portion of it, and the right is dominated by the text "BOSTON" in a serif font. The "S" is inverted and larger than the other letters, and the 2nd "O" is in a different style, being a ring with a pencil and paintbrush inside it, with the paintbrush poking out of the bottom left corner. Below all of this, there is "animation" in a handwritten font.
