Background

This is the production company of Kevin S. Bright (who previously founded Kevin Bright Productions and would go on to form Bright-San Productions), Marta Kauffman (who would later go on to form her own sole company, Okay Goodnight!) and David Crane (who would later join Jeffrey Klarik to form their own company, CraneKlarik).

Logo (September 24, 1993-May 6, 2004, May 27, 2021)

Visuals: Against a white background, there are the words

Bright
Kauffman
Crane

in a misaligned cartoonish Times-like typeface. Below in a reddish pink oval is "productions".

Variants:

  • On Family Album, it is followed by the text "in association with" separately on a white background, in the font used on the show's opening credits.
  • Usually, the IAW text is seen below it in the Friends typeface.
  • Starting around 2015 with current HD remaster prints of Friends, the logo was enhanced.

Technique: A still, digital graphic made by WunderFilm.

Audio: The end theme of the show, sounds of an episode from Friends (whenever it uses blooper reel footage), or a generic NBC theme starting in 1994. Sometimes, it's silent.

Availability: It's seen on Friends. Lesser known shows that have this include Family Album (the logo's first appearance) as well as Jesse and Veronica's Closet. It would be later revived for Friends: The Reunion.

Legacy: This logo is considered well-known amongst the fans of Friends.
