Background

Bristol Bay Productions is the sister company of Walden Media. It was originally founded in 1995 as Crusader Entertainment but was renamed to its current name in 2004. Its headquarters are located in Los Angeles.

Logo: We fade into snowy mountains at sunset. As we move back and the sky turns into night, a comet appears on the sky, and then explodes, leaving a light burst and the words "CRUSADER" and "ENTERTAINMENT".

Technique: Computer animation.

Music/Sounds: An ascending piano fanfare ending in a majestic hit.

Availability: Seen on early 2000's films, including Swimming Upstream and Where The Red Fern Grows.

Logo: We zoom through the trees into a silhouette scenery (except the lake) with the northern lights and a wolf standing on the rock. A computer generated lake is seen with the reflection in the scenery. As the camera stops zooming, the wolf turns its head right, the northern lights turn into a tornado-shaped Milky Way and then the words "BRISTOL BAY PRODUCTIONS" appear.

Variant: On Sahara, there was a coin flipping in the logo.

Technique: The silhouette scenery and the wolf, all in great-looking computer animation.

Music/Sounds: The same fanfare from the Crusader Entertainment logo. On Amazing Grace, it's silent and on Sahara, It was the opening theme.

Availability: Seen on Ray, Sahara, The Game of Their Lives, Amazing Grace and The Great Buck Howard.
