Background

Bungalow 78 Productions was founded in 1987 by Newhart producer Barry Kemp.

1st Logo (March 15, 1988-May 14, 1997)


Visuals: There is two small, lit up white houses on a suburban street at night. "a Bungalow 78 production" is at the bottom in a white script font. The lights are turned off in the houses and the street becomes dark.

Variant: On the season 4 gag reels of Coach, it is raining outside.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The end-title theme from any show. On the season 4 gag reels of Coach, some rain and lightning sounds are heard, as well as a click sound.

Availability: Seen on Coach on Reelz Channel and local syndication.

  • Also seen on the series, Princesses, Coming of Age and Delta, among others.
  • It was also seen on an August 25, 2011 airing of an unknown episode of Coach on affiliate WMYT, which is then followed by both the videotaped version of the 1991 Universal Television and the 1993 variant of the 1987 The Program Exchange logos.
