Background

This production company was owned by the late actor Burt Reynolds and the late Bert Convy, host of Win, Lose, or Draw.

Burt & Bert Productions

(September 7, 1987-June 8, 1990)

Logo: Superimposed over the end credits, we see a logo set up like so:

BB
BURT & BERT
PRODUCTIONS

FX/SFX: Sometimes, it's a still logo. Otherwise, the 2nd "B" will slide out from under the 1st "B", another "BURT" will slide out from under the first "BURT" and the "U" in the 2nd "BURT" will rotate and become an "E", an "&" slides along with "BERT", and "PRODUCTIONS" appears below.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show. On Win, Lose, or Draw, you would also hear an announcer say, "Win, Lose, or Draw is a Burt & Bert Production in association with Kline and Friends."

Availability: Last seen when GSN reran Win, Lose, or Draw. Was also seen on the short-lived game show 3rd Degree!

Editor's Note: None.

Burt Reynolds Productions

(August 29, 1991-May 23, 1994)

Logo: On a light blue/white gradient background, we see an etched square reading:

Burt
REYNOLDS
P R O D U C T I O N S I N C.

with "Burt" in a red angled script font, "Reynolds" in orange in a Times New Roman font, and "P R O D U C T I O N S I N C." in black in a spaced out Arial font.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A 6-note banjo tune with a strum on the 5th note (and you can hear a violin at the same time) or the end theme of the show/TV movie.

Availability: Seen on Burt Reynolds' Conversation With, seasons 2-4 of Evening Shade and a pair of TV-movies.

Editor's Note: None.
