Logo description, capture and video capture courtesy of bigladiesman

Background: Círculo Digital S.L. was a company based in Madrid that distributed quite a large number of public domain and budget DVD releases, many of whom were given as a free gift with newspapers and magazines. Nowadays it's in liquidation and its assets are expected to be bought by some other company.

1st (and only) Logo

(2001?-2008)

Logo: On a silver background, a silver line starts moving and forming some kind of abstract head in profile. Then the image cuts to a close-up shoot of the line merging with itself to complete the head. The head flips while moving back to reveal itself in its entirety while the screen fades to black and the words "círculo" and "digital" (Digital Circle) appear at the left and the right side of the head. Then it flips upwards on its left side and the logo fades out.

FX/SFX: Simple 3D computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A somewhat eerie combination of electronic sounds.

Availability: Fairly common. DVD movies distributed by this company have appeared as a free gift on dozens of Spanish magazines.
