Logo: We see a multicolored line stretch down on a black background. It then spreads apart to form an abstract butterfly, coloured red, orange, yellow, green, and blue from top to bottom. The butterfly also has a little white circle for a head.
Technique: The stretching.
Music/Sounds: A descending harp scale with announcer Lloyd Robinson saying "A CBC colour presentation."
Music/Sounds Variant: In Quebec, an announcer says "Une émission couleur du Radio-Canada."
Availability: Extremely rare, even in Canada; may be retained at the beginning of programs of the era whenever reran.
