Visuals: There is a multicolored line stretch down on a black background. It then spreads apart to form an abstract butterfly, coloured red, orange, yellow, green, and blue from top to bottom. The butterfly also has a little white circle for a head.
Technique: Traditional animation.
Audio: A descending harp scale with announcer Lloyd Robinson saying "A CBC colour presentation."
Audio Variant: In Quebec, an announcer says "Une émission couleur du Radio-Canada."
Availability: May be retained at the beginning of programs of the era whenever reran.
