Revision as of 10:53, 8 May 2020
1st Logo (September 18, 1995-September 2002)
Logo: On a black background, we see the text "produced in association with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation". The CBC logo shines and moves a bit left, than fades, being more less close to the camera, facing the front and shining, than fades again, being more large.
Variants: Sometimes, especially on its last years, the URL "www.cbc.ca" will appear. On Our Hero, the logo is slowed down to about 70% its normal speed.
FX/SFX: The logo moving.
Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the show. On Our Hero, a three-note theme plays based off of CBC's jingle of the time followed by a piano riff, a flourish, and what seems to be a segue into a drum-oriented theme before it abruptly fades out.
Availability: Rare, seen on Canadian TV shows produced by CBC on the era such as season 1 and 2 episodes of Edgemont. If you're living outside of Canada, this will be a tough find, and this goes for all of the logos on this list. It can be also be found on Rolie Polie Olie. Episode 1 can be found on the Treehouse Direct channel on YouTube.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (October 24, 2002-2006)
Logo: On a moving red background, we see the CBC logo in white. The text "CBC" is below the logo. Below the logo, there's text "produced in association with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation".
