Background
CC & J Entertainment was an international home video distributor in Indonesia. It was a subsidiary of ASIREVI, the second (formerly the third) largest home video distributor after PT. Vision Interprima Pictures. The company was succeeded by Tower Movie Entertainment in 2000.
1st Logo:(1997-2000)
Nickname: "Indonesian acid trip" Logo: Over the darkened clip art background consisting of media-related items (i.e. a compact disk, a cellphone, a VCR, a TV set, etc.), a multicolored circle flies across the background horizontally and expands into a scrolling, brightened and multicolored version of the same background with ripples and bubbles throughout. FX/SFX: The rippling color background, the flying discs, and of course the monkey heads. Mediorce and cheap animation, especially for 1997.
Music/Sounds: A loud, uninspired theme that sounds like the Hawaii Five-O's theme, as well as the glass breaking sound.
Availability: Seen on releases by New Line Cinema, Miramax, or any independent films from 1997-2000 on VCD's in Indonesia, including Good Will Hunting and Magnolia.
Editor's Note: What the hell is going here? The logo itself has really cheap and also trippy animation by today standards, music is so loud that it could blow your ears, and a bunch of weird stuff that are flying so nonsensical! And speaking of the weird monkey at the end, Did monkeys made this logo?
