Background
CMC Magnetics is a Taiwanese manufacturer of optical (and formerly magnetic) media technology, founded in 1978. The company was sold to some magnetic components, which owned to defunct corporations as a film production & distribution company in the Hong Kong and outside Taiwan, and then folded into CMC Entertainment in 2005. The company sold to CMC Corporation and it was discontinued in 2015, leaving the CMC Entertainment current company as a movie studio.
