Background

Ca Dao Productions was established in 1994, by the owner and singer Chung Tử Lưu. It published various Vietnamese music releases such as CDs, Cassettes, VHS and Karaoke releases with many talent singers like Trường Vũ, Hồng Trúc, Lâm Gia Minh, Thanh Thu, Đinh Ngọc, etc. He also released some other releases like cải lương, documentaries, comedies and audiobooks.

1st Logo (2000's)

Visuals: There is a skyscraper and a bridge at night somewhere from San Francisco or Houston and the text says "CA DAO" is under on river. This texts which fly up in 3D effects while "PRODUCTION" with a long oval shaped spin and lands on bottom of "CA DAO" then a broken glass transition which transported into black screen at the end.

Variant: There's a yellow flower background right after the glass broken transitions during a preview at beginning of tape 1 or tape 2 from Vietnamese documentaries on VHS. You can see it here.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: The sounds was used from 3D Pinball Space Cadet from Microsoft Windows.

Availability: Only be seen on some Vietnamese documentaries VHS releases.

2nd Logo (2000's)

Visuals: Over a sunrise background, the logo starts with the golden text "Ca Dao Productions" flying, rotating and landing into center, while the six arrows are still spinning in 3D and fading out.

Technique: 3D CGI.

Audio: Stock Latin salsa-style music.

Availability: Seen on documentaries releases, like "Ca Dao Nghệ Thuật" series.

3rd Logo (2000's-2009)

Visuals: The screen zooms in on a rock with a sunset cloud background with a blue sandfloor. In front of the pyramids, the is "Ca Dao" in a cursive text. The camera zooms in various parts with different zooming ways. At the end, the word "PRODUCTIONS" in Arial fades in, below.

Variant: Sometimes, the animation has a different angle and zooming effects with a shaped pyramid on the logo.

Technique: 3D CGI.

Audio: A space sounds taken from songs composed by Huỳnh Nhật Tân then orchestra music, heard with keyboard piano hears, a "ding" and a "boom" sound effect.

Availability: Can be seen on many Videocassettes and DVD.
