1st ID/Bumper (1970s-Early 1980s)
Sign-off: On a black background, there is a blue and red swirly scanimate trial, which forms a red, white, and blue background (resembling the Netherlands flag). Then the "Cablevision" logo and then the scanimate trial forms an eye.
Technique: Weird scanimate effects
Audio: A synthesizer tune, followed by Doug Keck saying “ This is Cablevision’s Family Channel 10, your address for Premiere Entertainment, Motion Pictures from Hollywood’s heyday, and selected sports programming. Well, this brings us to the close-o-gramming here on Family Cable 10, and I’m Doug Keck for Cablevision wishing you a very good evening.”
Availability: Seen after an October 16, 1978 airing of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” when switched over to Cable Chuckles.
