Background

Canadian International Pictures (CIP) is a home entertainment distributor formed as a partnership between Vinegar Syndrome and OCN Distribution. The company's primary focus is on obscure arthouse and Canuxploitation films from Canada.

(January 25, 2022-)

Logo: On a black background, a stylized "P" is drawn from its stem. Simultaneously, the center portion of the logo, the stem of the "i" is drawn, while the top portion of the "c" follows suit. After the "P" is formed, the "i"'s dot falls and lands on top of its stem. Then, before the logo is fully drawn, "CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL PICTURES", in a stacked format and with a trademark symbol, wipes in below the "P".

Variant: A black and white variant exists.

Technique: Flash animation done by Dylan Haley[1].

Audio: A cold set of chimes with an echo. This was composed by Alex Esk.[2].

Availability: It appeared on all of their releases since theier first release, The Ernie Game. The black and white variant appeared on Don't Let The Angels Fall.
