The Canadian Television Fund was a non-profit organization that supports production and broadcast of Canadian television programs. Founded in 1998, their objectives are to support creation and broadcast by the Department of Canadian Heritage. Other objectives includes allocating one-third of its resources to French-programming and the other two-third to English-programming, providing development funds, and make it necessary for market to be progressed.
On April 1, 2010, the Canadian Television Fund was merged with the Canada New Media Fund and reformed as the Canadian Media Fund (known today as Canada Media Fund). No logo was used until 2000, instead being represented by in-credit text.
