Revision as of 18:15, 19 May 2022

1st Logo (1995-1998)

Logo: This is an in-credit notice of the Carlton logo with "UK Productions" added.

Variant: On the Wolves, Witches & Giants special "Cinderella", the notice is in black.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Rare.

  • Preserved on Drama airings of Cadfael as well as episodes of Family Fortunes, Link, and Tots TV.

2nd Logo (1995-1998)

Logo: Next to a black planet with fire glowing out has the notice from before on the top right portion of the screen. Usually, a co-producer (e.g. Ragdoll Productions) will appear alongside the Carlton logo.

Variants:

  • An animated variant exists where as the fire is burning, the Carlton notice fades out and the screen zooms into the flames rising out of a portion of the planet, crossfading into the Central logo.
  • Sometimes, the planet is on the bottom left corner of the screen whereas the notice is on the bottom right.
  • A copyright notice, usually containing "CARLTON UK Television", may be seen underneath the company's name.
  • For programs co-produced with Channel 4, a notice from said company in the same font as the Carlton logo is placed underneath.
  • On Catchphrase, the notice is inside the planet.

FX/SFX: None for the standard version. The animated variant has the fire burning and the screen zooming into it.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Rare. It is seen on many productions from Carlton such as Bramwell, Bullseye, Catchphrase, and many more.
