(1958?-1983?)

Logo: On a blue, green, black, or dark blue background, we see a yellow carousel. The words "CAROUSEL FILMS, INC." fades in for a second, and the words "PRESENTS" pops in below the company name.

Variants:

  • There is a distribution variant, where the carousel is placed to make room for the company name. Underneath, we see "DISTRIBUTED BY" and below that is "CAROUSEL FILMS, INC.".
  • There is a black and white variant.

Technique: 2D animation.

Music/Sounds: A timpani roll, followed by a trumpet-driven fanfare.

Music Sounds Variant: None for the distribution variant.

Availability: Very rare; this was seen on some educational films from the 70s-80s, mainly on CBS News films and others, like J.T., The Captain Is A Lady, and Eastern Mystics Of The Golden West. The opening variant is ultra rare, but it was seen on Mothers and Daughters (1969). Check on Internet Archive, WorldCat or YouTube websites for more infos.
