Background
Cartoon is a Brussels-based association that supports various animated productions around the world. It was founded at the end of 1987 with the support of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
Logo (September 10, 1996-Late 1990's)
Visuals: Superimposed in the end credits is an upside-down blue rhombus with green paint on the bottom left and center right corners. Inside of the shape is the company name in a tall, hand drawn font with multiple scribble bursts around. One of them goes through both "O"'s and another in gold appears on top of the logo. To the right is a wavy line path coming out of the "N".
Technique: Traditional ink and paint.
Audio: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: It was only seen on season 1 of the French version of Billy the Cat. At least one VHS tape of said show has this logo intact. The company served as an assistant on most of the cartoons they were involved in rather than a producer. As a result, their name only exists as an in-credit disclaimer given special thanks to, leaving their logo out on all but one show they had involvement in.
