Background

Cartoon Network Video is the home entertainment arm of Cartoon Network.

1st Logo (1990s)

Logo: On a black background, we see the 1992-2004 Cartoon Network logo with the word "Video" in red below.

FX/SFX: None, it's a still logo.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Rare. Seen at the end of Classic Scooby-Doo VHS's and many other 1990's Cartoon Network VHS releases.

2nd Logo (1999-2001?)

Logo: 45 seconds of cartoon mayhem (Top Cat pushes a domino, Chicken from Cow and Chicken gets shot out of a cannon, George Jetson gets pinched on the butt and wedgied, Dick Dastardly gets run over by marbles, Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory pulls a lever which could be related to George's butt being pinched and wedgied and Hong Kong Phooey slides down a tube and bounces off a mattress).

FX/SFX: CGI animation mixed with recycled animation by Hanna-Barbera Productions.

Music/Sounds: A sorta weird tune constantly broken by the characters' antics.

Availability: Appears on Cartoon Network VHS tapes such as their volume sets. It also appears on The Iron Giant VHS for some reason.

Editor's Note: A great example of classic Cartoon Network.
