1st logo (1950's-1964)
Visuals: An illustration of the Cathay building fades in and zooms towards us from the left, and again from the right. The illustration is then seen on a sky-like background, as the stacked text "CATHAY ORGANISATION MEMPERSEMBAHAN" fades in at the center of the screen.
Technique: Traditional animation.
Audio: A triumphant fanfare which continues in the Cathay Keris logo.
Availability: Seen on films released by the company from the time, such as Dua Pendekar.
2nd Logo (1958-1973)
Visuals: We see the Cathay building in live-action. Around here, we see cars passing by. We then see the text "CATHAY ORGANISATION" with "MEMPERSEMBAHKAN" under it, zoom in and settle. The text then fades away.
Technique: Live-action and chroma key effects.
Audio: A bombastic fanfare made with Malaysian traditional instruments, which continues in the succeeding Cathay Keris logo.
Availability: Seen on films released by the company from the time, such as Bawang Putih Bawang Merah.
