Background
Cellar Door Productions is a production company based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The company was founded in 1997 by Gretha Rose.
1st Logo (September 15, 1998-2010)
![](/w/thumb.php?f=2599a3edfaa018d7ddec3f1746c4a277.png&width=350)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a cellar door. Light flashes behind the door, and it opens, revealing the text "cellar door productions". The text zooms up to us, casting a shadow in the shape of an arc.
Variants:
- There is a short version that starts with the cellar door opening.
- Sometimes, a copyright stamp is seen below.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A "fwoosh!" when the light shines, followed by a glockenspiel chime when the text appears. Sometimes, it's the end theme of the show.
Availability: Seen on Chef at Home, The Inn Chef, Eckhart and its pilot movie The True Meaning of Crumbfest.
2nd Logo (September 6, 2002-October 13, 2004)
![](/w/thumb.php?f=Cellar_Door_Productions_%282004%29_%28From_-_Ghost_Cat%29.png&width=300)
Visuals: On a light gray background, the Teletoon logo is seen next to a drawing of a cellar door. Below it are the stacked words "CELLAR DOOR PRODUCTIONS". A copyright stamp is seen below.
Variant: On Ghost Cat, the logo is inverted.
Technique: A still, digital graphic.
Audio: The end theme of the short or movie.
Availability: This was an in-credit logo seen on Doodlez and Ghost Cat.
