Background

Cellar Door Productions is a production company based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The company was founded in 1997 by Gretha Rose.

1st Logo (1998-2010)

Logo: On a black background, we see a cellar door. Light flashes behind the door, and it opens, revealing the text "cellar door productions". The text zooms up to us, casting a shadow in the shape of an arc.

Variants:

  • There is a short version that starts with the cellar door opening.
  • Sometimes, a copyright stamp is seen below.

Technique: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A "fwoosh!" when the light shines, followed by a glockenspiel chime when the text appears. Sometimes, it's the end theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Chef at Home, The Inn Chef, Eckhart and its pilot movie The True Meaning of Crumbfest.
