Background

Paul Chang-chung founded Chang Brothers in early 1970s specializing in the Hong Kong/Taiwanese martial arts and adult-oriented films.

Logo (May 11, 1973-1979)


Visuals: On a dark background, there is a stylized "CB" in red zooming in. The plain yellow text "CHANG BROTHERS MOVIE CO." is in a computerized font to the left of the "CB" (next to the "B"), and the Chinese company name is shown to the right of the "CB" (next to the "C") zooming in along with the stylized "CB".

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A dramatic fanfare.

Availability: The logo has been recently discovered on a 35mm trailer of Kung Fu vs. Yoga (1979), and is left intact when the trailer is included in Kung Fu Trailers of Fury, released in 2016. It is also seen on Super Dragon.
