Background
Channel 6 Woodstock TV was the continuation of the Videofreex collective's pirate television broadcasting after ending Lanesville TV in the late 1970s. Channel 6 broadcasted old Lanesville TV content as well as brand new content made by the group, such as The Night Owl show, which aired on Friday nights.
1st Logo (1978)
Logo:There is a red heart with a searchlight emitting from it that moves as the text CHANNEL 6 WOODSTOCK TV appears in yellow shortly before a blue star flies from the left side, covering the screen.
Variants:In the "Santa Visits Lanesville 1973" broadcast, the blue star fades out in the centre, becoming hollow and revealing the video behind it.
Technique:Unknown.
Music/Sounds:The logo is silent.
Availability:Can be seen at the start of The Night Owl show, which has been uploaded to YouTube by Videofreex member Bart Friedman.
