Background

Channel 3, later known as Channel D, subtitled as "Independent Television Dublin", was a short lived pirate television station in Dublin, Ireland that broadcast from April to August of 1981.

1st Logo (25th April 1981 - August 1981)

Logo: A stylised capital D on a background of space and stars, text saying "Independent Television Dublin" in green scrolls along the bottom.

FX/SFX: Text scrolling.

Availability: Extinct. The station only broadcast for about 2 months and there is little or no footage available.

Editor's Note: There is no known footage of the channel easily available online, however, there are some screen captures and photographs of the station. It could possibly be "Lost Media".
