1st Bumper (October 1, 1995-December 31, 1996)

Visuals: On a bright purple silk background with several glass rings, with their white glow, rotating around a glass version of the ORT logo of the time (which is all out-of-focus at first), there is a glass curve moving in close-up, inside which is a reflecting white letter "О" (in white Empire font). After a while, the screen fades to the same sequence, but everything is arranged differently, a moving curve is at a different angle, and inside it is a letter "Р". After that, the same thing happens, and inside a moving curve is a letter "Т". Finally, the screen fades into the fully-shown ORT logo, with its white glow, being surrounded by rotating rings, along with a group of white thiner rings. A wide purple cloth is also shown flying around the rings; there is also a group of the texts "АВТОРСКИЕ ПРОГРАММЫ", in spaced-out letters, flying in the background. The spaced-out word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" (in a futuristic font that resembles Bank Gothic), in black with its white glow, fades in at the bottom of the screen, and everything but the text below fades into a black background, where a silver ORT logo with its purple glow is shown zooming out a bit.

Variants: In the short version, every shot with a letter inside a moving curve lasts for half a second, and the word "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" fades in earlier. When the ORT logo is fully revealed, the screen freeze-frames.

  • There are several variations of this version, where the bumper is tinted orange, green, or blue.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A majestic string/truimphant theme based on the regular ident of the time, with the last note being held out.

Audio Variant: The short versions have last 3 notes of the theme with a shortened ending.

2nd Bumper (October 6, 1997-October 2, 1998)

Opening Visuals: Throughout the whole bumper, at the top and bottom of the screen is the scrolling, white text "ОБЩЕСТВЕННОЕ РОССИЙСКОЕ ТЕЛЕВИДЕНИЕ" (in a font that resembles Micra Bold) in spaced-out letters. Large colorful letters of the word "СМОТРИТЕ" zoom out and fade out against a blue-ish background with two moving rings consisting of eight sky blue circular lines, and a rotating orange triangle on the left side of the screen, while a group of multiple copies of the transparent word "СКОРО" slide in from the left and disappear. During the disappearance of the large letters, the word "НА" fades in and zooms out in the middle near the top of the screen. After that, the screen fades into a golden cloudy-like background as a blurry yellow border appears, along with the glowing white text "канале", which later fades into "СМОТРИТЕ НА КАНАЛЕ".

Closing Visuals: The sequence starts on a washed-out yellow-ish background with a magenta border containing the scrolling, white Russian text of names of days of the week, in all caps with its drop shadow, where a small sky blue gradient rectangle, with a cut out of the ORT logo of the time, is shown in the middle of the screen with its drop shadow. It zooms out as a large, stacked text "СМОТРИТЕ НА КАНАЛЕ" appears zooming out, with its transparent white copy zooming in and rotating. The screen then fades into a zooming close-up of the ORT logo cut out of a sky blue gradient rectangle, where the same rectangle is shown zooming out against an orange-ish background through a cut out. As the rectangle settles itself in the middle of the screen, the same stacked text, along with two blurry yellow horizontal bars, fades in while zooming out as a ring of the transparent white text "СМОТРИТЕ НА КАНАЛЕ" appears rotating. The stacked text fades out, two horizontal bars turn normal and settle themselves between a rectangle as the same stacked text appears inside two bars zooming in, while the background fades into dark yellow clouds, and the screen freeze-frames. Just like in the opening bumper, the scrolling text is shown throughout the whold closing bumper.

Technique: 2D computer animation by Igor Barbe.

Audio: A bombastic synth orchestra news fanfare composed by Sergey Chekryzhov, who also composed two next bumpers.

3rd Bumper (October 3, 1998-October 31, 1999)

Opening Visuals: On a royal blue cloudy-like background, there is a thick white border in the middle of the screen containing a thiner light blue border, inside which is a group of multiple moving dodger/dark blue vertical stripes. At the top of the screen is another border, with a white outline, containing a darker blue cloudy background with reflecting, moving vertical lines and two transparent copies of a number 1 of the ORT logo. Between a white border and a border with its white outline is a blue-ish gray cloudy background. Below a white border is a group of teal, purple, blue and lighter blue horizontal stripes; in the middle of them is a thin border containing a slowly moving, blue "time warp mode" background. A border with its white outline shrinks and grows back so that the clip with a letter "О" and four flying white pigeons from a regular ident of the time, in slow-motion, would be shown within a border as a thin, shiny blue border, with its white outline, wipes in below a white, thicker one in the middle of the screen. During that, a blue border at the bottom of the screen wipes out to make more room for a border containing "time warp mode" background, and another border, containing light/dark blue vertical stripes, appears below. Some thin white horizontal lines move near the bottom of the screen, and a shiny blue border becomes much thicker below a white border, causing a group of multiple moving dodger/dark blue vertical stripes to disappear, as another border, containing a white/bright blue cloudy background with three copies of an outlined word "Смотрите" zooming out, wipes in the middle near the bottom of the screen in the place of a former white border, along with a brighter blue cloudy background behind the latter white border between the one with a white outline and another one containing light/dark blue vertical stripes. As the copies of the word "Смотрите" zoom out into one copy, which then fills in with white, two black horizontal lines appear moving within a white border, and settle themselves above and below the word as the transparent dark blue copies of the said word (filled in, not outlined) appear zooming within a white border. After that, a thin border at the bottom of the screen wipes out to make more room for a blue cloudy background to the bottom, and then another thin border, containing moving light/dark blue vertical stripes, appears below a white one. Then, another border, containing a dark/cornflower blue cloudy background with a group of sliding, transparent white texts "на канале", wipes in between a white border and the one containing moving light/dark blue vertical stripes as the border at the top of the screen wipes out. The bumper then remains on-screen for two seconds.

Closing Visuals: Almost same as the opening bumper, but above a group of teal, purple, blue and lighter blue horizontal stripes, there is a thick border, containing a blue cloudy background, in the middle near the top of the screen located between a thin border containing a group of light/dark blue vertical stripes and a blue border with two white horizontal lines. Both blue and teal borders shrink down as two horizontal lines form a thick border containing the same clip from the regular ident in the middle of the screen, while the background, along with a group of horizontal stripes except for teal and purple ones, wipes into its different animation; transparent white copies of a number "1" of the ORT logo are shown in it, with one of them sliding to the left. During that, a border containing the clip from the ident fades out.

Technique: 2D computer animation mixed with clips from the regular ident.

Audio:

  • There are three music variations of the opening bumper:
    • A grid-like wind chime, followed by the new-age, dreamy and groovy synth tune, accompanied by synth strings and more grid-like wind chimes.
    • Same as above, excluding the groovy part of the synth tune.
    • A new-age synth orchestra tune, accompanied by grid-like and groovy wind chimes.
  • The closing bumper has four music variations:
    • A new-age upbeat synth tune, combined with some groovy wind chimes and grid-like wind chimes, and the bombastic hit.
    • Same as above, but the bombastic hit is slightly low-pitched.
    • A new-age groovy synth piece adapted from the first opening music variant's new-age, dreamy and groovy synth tune, with the same groovy wind chimes and grid-like wind chimes as above.
    • A slight retake of the first opening music variant.

4th Bumper (September 27, 1999-September 23, 2001)

Visuals: Against a blue cloudy sky at daytime moving at a fast pace, there is a group of three borders containing royal blue-tinted clips of clouds in the center of the screen, with the middle one being darker than the rest of them. Below a group of borders is the clip of the TV channel breakbumper (the one with a light blue background) of the time, but with moving, reflecting horizontal bars. A thin, transparent white bar is shown against a group of borders, sliding from the top and wiping out above the breakbumper clip. Then, the upper border out of three of them transforms into a group of moving vertical stripes, and the bottom border fades out to make more room for the middle one as the breakbumper clip below transforms into a blue-tinted footage of a cloudy sky from the background, along with its dark reflection below. During that, a group of moving vertical stripes fades out, and the white word "СМОТРИТЕ" (in Franklin Gothic Medium font) wipes in letter-by-letter in the place of them as a thin border, containing the same breakbumper clip, appears for a second to form the transparent white text "на канале" (in the same font) below "СМОТРИТЕ" before turning into a blue border containing the same clouds as a middle border. During the formation of the text, a border containing a group of moving light/sky/dodger blue vertical stripes appears below the text.

Variants:

  • A short variant exists where the part with the text is excluded.
  • There are also evening variants:
    • Tomorrow's version: Against a different cloudy sky background, there is a border containing the different footage of a cloudy sky in the middle of the screen, which wipes to its same sequence, but at a different time. After a while, the footage inside a border wipes to a dark blue background with two thin borders containing moving, reflective orange vertical stripes, and a different footage of a cloudy sky, with its reflection below, in the middle of a border. Then, the stacked text "завтра вечером" wipes in against the footage via thin, transparent vertical stripes.
    • Today's version: Almost same as above, but at the beginning of the bumper, a border contains the same breakbumper clip with reflecting bars. Also, the footage inside a border after its transition also contains the footage from the background of a regular bumper, with its darker reflection. The stacked text also says "сегодня вечером". The footage of a cloudy sky in the background is also the same one as the main bumper.
    • Short variants:
      • Tomorrow's version: A dark blue background is shown between two pillar boxes; the one above consists of a group of six blue/gray-ish bars and a group of blue-ish white wider bars below, and a pillar box below is the same as the one above, but the bars are darker and a group of wider bars is located above the taller ones. A dark blue background fades into a footage of a moving cloudy sky piece-by-piece as if its animation was pixelated, while the bars turn translucent at random.
      • Today's version: A thick border, containing the same breakbumper clip, is shown in middle of the screen. Below the border is the footage of moving clouds from today's evening bumper, and above the border is the footage of a sunset over the clouds, with a group of small, growing vertical bars of the same breakbumper clip near the bottom. A border in the middle of the screen wipes into two copies of a dark blue-tinted footage of moving clouds from the background of a regular bumper, with the second one below being rotated 180°, as the clip inside growing vertical bars from above wipes into golden clouds.

Technique: A mix of 2D computer animation and live-action.

Audio:

  • Regular:
    • Long version: A new-age, dreamy synth-flute theme with a forming sound which sounds like flipping leaves.
    • Short version: There are several music variations of this version:
      • Two variations of a dreamy, new-age synth pad accompanied by grid-like whooshes.
      • A dreamy 3-note synth-flute tune accompanied by a grid-like wind chime.
      • A rising synth-string sounder accompanied by a descending synth warble sound.
  • Evening:
    • Long version: A bombastic synth orchestra theme sounding similar to the 2nd bumper, accompanied by grid-like/groovy wind chimes. There is also an announcer, Alexey Neklyudov, saying either "Завтра, перед программой Время" (for tomorrow's version) or "Сегодня вечером" (for today's version) in a courageous way.
    • Short version:
      • Tomorrow's version: A new-age, epic synth-string tune accompanied by a grid-like wind chime.
      • Today's version: A new-age synth pad with an electronic drum beat sounding similar to the previous bumper, accompanied by a grid-like wind chime.

Availability: These bumpers debuted as evening variants, while the main variants debuted on November 1st, 1999. The short bumpers were used in tandem with the next one for almost a month.

5th Bumper (September 1, 2001-August 31, 2003)

Opening Visuals: On a white background, multiple silhouettes of objects appear filling the top half of the screen with a background of one specific color suitable for a season. Then somehow, the name of the season, in white text, appears above the bottom half of the screen, usually on the right side. After a while, the screen forms into a thin border, consisting of various shades of the same color rapidly sliding to the right, over a clip of a program that the channel announces; it forms a horizontal bar on the right side of the screen, containing the same text of a name of season, which later wipes out to the right.

Closing Visuals: The screen wipes to the same white background where the top half has a specific color and the text appears in the same way as it did in the opening bumper. The name of an announced program, along with the name of a day (one or more) of the week the program would air and sometimes the time, all set in a black font that resembles Micra, fades in below at the bottom half of the screen. After a while, the screen disappears in the same way as the opening bumper, but it doesn't turn into a horizontal bar on the right side of screen and simply wipes out, leaving a black background.

Trivia: Later, the concept of these promo bumpers would also be used in the 2011-2012 TV channel break bumpers.

Variants: Each transition to the color background at the top half of the screen has several variations for each season bumper.

  • Autumn 2001: A solid orange background appears via either several rapidly growing octagons as if they were opening umbrellas, several leaves falling onto the ground, falling raindrops, several horizontal lines with diagonal ones, circles, and cursive letters "А а" and "С с" as if they are drawing on the chalkboard, or ripples of raindrops. After the transition, multiple small squares, forming the word "ОСЕНЬ" (set in a pixelated font) slowly sliding from left to right in the front, are shown rapidly zooming in and out. In the closing bumper, a thin border disappears leaving a white background.
  • New Year 2001-2002: A solid blue background appears via either several appearing stamps, consisting of a thin ring with the curved text "НОВЫЙ ГОД" above the current ORT/Channel One logo, and a large "2002" with small curved letters "ОРТ" below, as well as a group of wavy horizontal lines; severeal appearing stylized fireforks, flying ribbons with confetti, glowing garlands, or several sparklers appearing from the bottom. After the transition, multiple flying snowflakes form the words "НОВЫЙ ГОД" (also set in a pixelated font) near the right side of the screen and then fly out. In the closing variant, there is also a snowfall throughout the whole bumper, which is sometimes tinted blue. The texts at the bottom half of the screen in the closing bumper are dark blue, just like in the winter and Olympics 2002 bumpers.
  • Winter 2001-2002: A sky blue background appears via either a snowfall (of snowflakes or sometimes balls), several small footprints of a bird, several appearing thin lines with transparent dots (presumably drawing a Christmas tree), snowstorm, multiple drawing curves as if they were footprints on the ice from skates, several appearing dog paw prints, or falling petals. After the transition, multiple transparent, vertical thin stripes appear near the bottom of the top half of the screen, making the word "ЗИМА" (in the same font) appear letter-by-letter and then dissapear.
  • 2002 Winter Olympics: After the transition from a snowfall of balls to a blue background, a group of multiple, moving thick rings is shown slowly turning to the right. A white curve appears in the middle forming a ring, which duplicates into five of them making an Olympic Games symbol near the right side of the screen.
  • Spring 2002 and 2003: A green sky, along with a rising sun beam near the left side of the screen and several panning transparent triangles, appears via either growing grassfield, a white screen shattering into pieces falling out (presumably representing an ice), growing leaves with white flowers, or several growing tulips. After the transition, multiple horizontal lines appear flying from the left, forming the word "ВЕСНА" (set in Micra typeface) on the right side of the screen and then fly out to the right off-screen. The texts at the bottom half of the screen in the closing bumper are dark green.
  • The 7th Anniversary: A hot pink background appears via either a group of multiple copies of an ORT/Channel One logo panning to the top, with a gigantic copy following them; or several balloons flying from the left, with half of them being the channel logos as well as a gigantic one covering the screen from the right. After the transition, multiple horizontal lines slide in from the left to right to form the text "7/\ЕТ" (in a font that resembles Franklin Gothic Medium) before the slide out to the right off-screen. The texts at the bottom half of the screen in the closing bumper are crimson.
  • May 1-3, 2002: A sky blue gradient background transitions either via multiple growing daisy wheels turned to the left, or the same animation of panning logos from above. After the transition, a small dust forms the word "МАЙ" (in a pixelated font) on the right side of the screen which then slowly flies out to the right, while several transparent bright wiping lines appear in the background. The texts at the bottom half of the screen in the closing bumper are teal.
  • Victory Day 2002 and 2003: An orange background with a transparent footage of what appears to be a cloudy sky appears via four moving searchlights. Then, the text "9 МАЯ" (in a pixelated font) appears letter-by-letter via fireworks. In the closing bumper, there is the text "С ДНЕМ ПОБЕДЫ!" at the bottom half of the screen.
  • Summer 2002 and 2003: A yellow background appears via either zooming thin leaves with a flying ladybird, flying birds, a butterfly net trying to catch a butterfly, a racket throwing a shuttlecock for badminton, or several appearing flies; sometimes, however, a colored background is already there, with white silhouettes being shown before fading out: either dandelions or a hanging night light surrounded by flying moths. After the transition, several transparent panels fly out and form the word "ЛЕТО" (in the Micra typeface) on the right side of the screen in a grungy texture. The texts, except for the program title which is in black, at the bottom half of the screen in the closing bumper are brown.
  • September 2-November 3, 2002: In honor of renaming the channel, the bumpers had a mostly different theme. Each animation with a number counting down from 5 to 1 is shown for a second, surrounded by a teal pixelized border wiping into black clockwise. The first animation has multiple turning crystal shapes revealing a glossy number "5" (in a futurisitc font) against a group of tilted, glass rectangle shapes over a red gradient background with geometric lines. The second animation has the camera zooming out to the right, revealing a bright orange ring (with a broken upper-left part), surrounded by a thick light yellow semiring, with a bold number "4" on a light orange background with segmented, graffiti-like shapes in dark red, teal and olive colors with various small white circles with outer outlines. The third animation has a white thin grid with several flickering transparent blue squares with a white, quadratic number "3" forming in the middle of a gird against a blue-tinted dandelion on a dark blue background with a bigger close-up of a blue-tinted dandelion at the upper-left corner of the screen. The fourth animation has a turning transparent number "2" (set in the Aksent typeface) in an orange/pink digital environment (which is actually an orange-tinted clip from the Novosti intro of the time). The final animation is a sped-up of the ORT production logo of the time, but without the text and sometimes at the end, the logo glows and fills the screen with white.
    • In the closing bumper, a group of five bars showing the animation of each number, in slow-motion, is shown above the white screen fading in one-by-one, with the texts, except for the program title which is in black, at the bottom half of the screen being dark blue. A thin border after its transition has various shades of blue.
  • Autumn 2002: An orange background appears via either a zooming shot of tree branches with falling leaves from a sea view, or a panning shot of trees with a grassfield and mushrooms; just like with the summer bumpers, there is also a variant where an orange background is already there, showing white silhouettes: a panning shot of a grassfield with reeds and flying birds. After the transition, the word "ОСЕНЬ" (in Micra font) forms via several flying particles and then disappears via a pixelation as a thin border of shades of the colored background forms. Starting with these closing bumpers, when the screen turns into a thin border, a TV channel URL ("WWW.ORTV.RU"; later "WWW.1TV.RU", with "1" being the logo in the autumn variant) appears on the right side of a border in the same way as the name of a season did.
  • New Year 2002-2003: In the opening bumper, a panning shot of black trees with snow is shown at the top half of the screen, with a magenta silhouette of Santa Claus riding a sleigh with reindeer. Then, the top half fills with a sky blue gradient background via a flowing ink, and the screen turns into a thin border where the text "С НОВЫМ ГОДОМ!" forms via a snowstorm at the bottom-right corner of a border, which also dissapears via a flowing ink. In the closing bumper, a colored background at the top half is shown with the same forming text, with the texts except for the program title being magenta; in the end, when the screen turns into a thin border, the white text forms into a URL, and a border disappears in the same way.
  • Winter 2002-2003: Same concept as the New Year 2002-2003 bumper, but there are several variations of a shot in a forest: a magenta fish lying on an icy land, with another fish jumping out of a hole in the ice; an eagle flying in the forest, or a deer on a snowy land. The top half fills via a flowing ink with a sky blue gradient background and the word "ЗИМА" forms on the right side of the screen.
  • An alternate version has an already formed color background, with a transparent horizontal bar of bright shades below it which wipes out and later appears above the bottom half. There is also atmospheric precipitation being shown, mainly in 2001-2002 bumpers; for example, several ripples of raindrops appearing everywhere in the screen for the autumn variant, a snowfall for New Year/winter variants, or flying bubbles for the spring variant. In the 7th anniversary and early May bumpers, however, there are several outlined balloons flying to the top.
    • An alternate Victory Day variant simply has an orange background with a transparent footage of what appears to be a cloudy sky with moving searchlights, along with exploding fireworks.
    • In the alternate summer bumpers, there are several panels flying in slow-motion.
    • Starting with the autumn 2002 bumpers, a thin border appears above the bottom half with echoing bright shades of a colored background and disappears before a thin transparent gray border appears by echoing below the colored background.
    • An alternate winter 2002-2003 bumper simply has a snowstorm in the colored background.
    • An alternate spring bumper (2003) has a zooming shot of pink flowers on a lime gradient background; a thin border of lime shades is seen below the top half (only in the opening bumper), wiping into its inverted colors.

Technique: A mix of 2D computer animation and CGI.

Audio:

  • Autumn 2001: A synth organ chord accompanied by multiple beeping sounds. This theme is also used for the alternate versions of New Year/Winter 2001-2002 bumpers.
  • New Year 2001-2002: A dreamy synth pad accompanied by bell tolls and violin stringer. Starting with these bumpers until the summer ones, the closing bumper ends with a whoosh sound.
  • Winter 2001-2002 and 2002 Winter Olympics: There are several variants of this bumper theme, with all of them ending with a short electric guitar glissando which is accompanied by wind-blowing sounds (the "Reverted" sample from Spectrasonics' Distorted Reality sample CD).
    • A new-age synth organ tune, using the "Solia" sample from Spectrasonics' Distorted Reality sample CD.
    • Three variations of a reverbed synth sounder.
  • Spring 2002 and 2003: A dreamy synth sounder ending with a harp glissando. There are several variations of a synth sounder.
  • Victory Day 2002 and 2003: A dreamy synth pad with the same harp glissando and sounds accompanying actions.
  • Summer 2002 and 2003: A new-age synth chord accompanied by the same harp glissando and sounds accompanying actions. Starting with these bumpers, the closing bumper ends with a dreamy 2-note synth tune and forming sound with a reversed reverb effect.
  • September 2-November 3, 2002: A repeating techno arpeggio accompanied by beeping noises, ending with Alexey Neklyudov saying either "Первый пошёл!" or "Первый на связи!".
  • Autumn 2002: Same as the summer bumpers, but with a synth-string sounder.
  • New Year and Winter 2002-2003: A reversed harp sounder (for the opening), or the sound of snowstorm (for the closing), with the same 2-note synth tune.

Channel One (Russia)

1st Bumper (September 1-December 14, 2003)

Opening Visuals: The bumper is basically the sped-up version of the Channel One production logo of the time, but when the logo is formed, segmented colors gain a transparent footage of a cloudy sky, and the text at the end is also absent.

Closing Visuals: Over a pixelated, blurry footage of what appears to be a cloudy sky in blue gradient, a pixelated box of the same footage, albeit much brighter, grows in at the middle of the screen, and a pixelated white horizontal line wipes in below. Then a large white text of the time the program would air, set in the Helvetica typeface, appears near the top of the box, and the dark blue serif text of a name of day of the week (one or two of them), and sometimes date and month, appears on a pixelated line.

Variants:

  • Sometimes in the closing bumper, only a pixelated white border forms in the middle near the bottom of the screen, and the dark blue serif text appears on it; it's either date and month, "скоро", or "после программы "Время"". When the text of days of the week appears, its color is brighter and it's set in a font that resembles Franklin Gothic Medium; the text of the time of the program's airing appears below, albeit with one dot instead of two between two numbers.
  • An alternate variant has a mirrored clip of a cloudy sky (the one that was also used in the TV channel clock ident of the time), which wipes smoothly into its heavily pixelated version.
  • An alternate closing variant has a different clip of a cloudy sky moving at a fast pace. A white thin border forms near the bottom of the screen, along with a transparent black horizontal bar, and a thinner, gray line on the left above; and a sky blue bar forms above a border on the right side of the screen, along with the bottom part of the clip pixelizing and gaining a blue tint, with the right half being darker, as a two-colored horizontal bar (its left part is light blue, and its right part is dark blue) forms from the right near the top of a bottom part of the clip. Then, the same text of the time the program would air appears on the left above a white border, the program title (set in dark blue Arial font) appears on the left side of a white border, and the white word "сегодня" appears on the left side of a horizontal bar at the bottom.

Technique: A mix of 2D computer animation and live-action.

Audio:

  • There are two music variations for the opening bumper.
    • A rising synth chord.
    • A new-age, wavy synth-string sounder.
  • The closing bumper has a long version of the synth-string sounder. Sometimes, a background piece from the show or program plays over the bumper, with Alexey Neklyudov saying the day of the week or date and month the program would air, and the channel name by saying "на первом... (канале!)".

2nd Bumper (January 19-October 8, 2004)

Opening Visuals: The sequence starts on a black screen with a thin blue horizontal border in the middle of the screen, containing three overlays of satellite dishes. After a second, the screen wipes via dark/light blue horizontal/vertical bars sliding from bottom-right to the top-left to several giant satellite dishes from distances over a blue cloudy sky moving at a fast pace. Below them is a group of five different footages of satellite dishes above a white horizontal bar with a short purple-colored part on the left and a wider sky blue-colored part on the right. At the top of the background is another horizontal bar with colored parts, but it's transparent white and a colored part on the left is transparent dark blue. After a while, the screen between two bars wipes into a clip of a program that the channel announces (with the background in the bar above still being visible) and then two bars slide away from the screen.

Closing Visuals: In the darkness with a (barely visible) starfield, there are five satellite dishes with distances zooming in a bit. Below them is a navy gradient border, with a lighter blue-colored part on the right, above a darker navy radial gradient background. The border contains the white text which says either "После программы "Время"", "Сегодня", or "Завтра". Sometimes, in the middle near the top of the screen, there is a big, white serif text of the time of program's airing, with two dots flickering.

Variants: The opening bumper has four variations of the satellite dishes, and one variant with two observatories instead of satellite dishes.

  • Two bumpers with regular satellite dishes.
  • Two bumpers with a close-up of a different satellite dish which is made of multiple glass hexagons, with its grider being red, against a blue/teal sky.

Technique: A mix of 2D computer animation and live-action.

Audio: A deep, new-age choir sounder accompanied by electronic drumbeat, a whoosh sound and whistling synth tune. In the closing bumper, Alexey Neklyudov also says either "Первый покажет!", "По будням, на первом... канале!", "Сегодня, на первом... канале!", or "Завтра, на первом... канале!".

3rd Bumper (October 9, 2004-November 30, 2005)

Opening Visuals: The sequence starts on a black screen with a horizontal border (which became much thicker in August 2005) in the middle of the screen, containing a footage that varies depending on the season. After a second, the screen wipes to a clip of a program, with a horizontal bar containing the same footage on the left which later pans down to the bottom-left, turns a lot taller and a different angle of the footage is revealed within a bar, which then fades out.

Closing Visuals: In the end of a promo, a box containing the same footage wipes in at the bottom-right corner of the screen, and the top side of it becomes blurry as the footage itself wipes into its different angle to reveal a horizontal line, containing the white text which says either "Сегодня", the name of a week, or date and month, on the middle-left of a box, while a bigger white bold, slab-serif text of the time of program's airing (set in ITC Lubalin Graph Bold) fades in at the top of the box.

Variants: Here are several footage variations for the bumper:

  • October 9, 2004-June 19, 2005: The same clip of a satellite dish with a red grider from the previous bumper. A horizontal line in a box in the closing bumper is absent.
  • January-February 2005: A spinning wireframe globe with two attached, thick red/white rings against a dark blue sky with a snowfall. A horizontal line in a box in the closing bumper is red, just like in the August 2005 closing bumper.
  • Early March 2005: A close-up of spinning white and pink flowers against a sky blue gradient background. A horizontal line in a box is magenta.
  • June 20-August 14, 2005: A fan machine with its spinning vanes in an orange environment. A horizontal line in a box is transparent red.
  • August 15-November 30, 2005: The camera slowing down to the left showing a handful of clustered antennas on a concrete at daytime.

Technique: A mix of live-action (or sometimes CGI) and 2D computer animation.

Audio: The opening theme of a program or a background piece from the show. The closing bumper also has Alexey Neklyudov saying either the date and month, the day of the week, or "Сегодня, на первом... канале!".

Audio Variant: The August 2005 bumper has the same theme from the next bumper below (excluding the voiceover).

Availability: The August 2005 bumper was used in tandem with the next bumper below for three months.

4th Bumper (August 29, 2005-August 31, 2007)

Opening Visuals: The screen slowly opens itself with two black pillar boxes sliding from each other until they stop to make the screen fit within the 16:9 ratio. It shows a moving cloudy sky at daytime (the same one from an alternate opening bumper of the 1st Channel One promo bumper, albeit not mirrored) with two turning glass bars containing a grid, and a small dark blue square in the center of the screen, containing the current Channel One logo in white. The footage of a cloudy sky between two mirror glass bars appears to be distorted, while its reflection on these bars isn't.

Closing Visuals: Same as the opening bumper, but the screen is already shown, and instead of a square with the logo, a big, white bold text of the time of program's airing, along with a smaller text in all caps below (set in Franklin Gothic Medium font) which is either "СЕГОДНЯ", the day of the week, or date and month; fades in via a "window reflection" effect, with two blinking square dots between the numbers. Sometimes, only a small text appears in the middle of the screen.

Variants: There are also several variations with different background instead of a cloudy sky that varies:

  • December 26, 2005-January 15, 2006: Multiple glossy bars with a silver grid, reflecting a blue aurora background, with the camera slowly sliding to the right; there are also multiple glossy violet confetti floating in the air. In this closing bumper variant, two square dots were replaced with snowflakes, just like in the New Year 2006-2008 bumper.
  • March 6-8, 2006: A glass wall with a grid reflecting a cloudy sky with a purple flower-strewn field with melted snow at daytime, with the camera sliding to the left.
  • May 1, 2006: A blue cloudy sky with a sun beam at the upper-right corner, where several pink petals are floating. In this opening bumper, a square fades in and the logo zooms in.
    • In the closing bumper variant, two square dots were replaced with flowers.
  • June 26-August 27, 2006: Several types of butterflies sitting on a green-yellow/lime gradient wall, with the camera slowly sliding to the right. A square containing the logo is also pushed to the left to cast the white text "летняя коллекция" next to it.
  • August 27-December 9, 2006: Two wavy chequered flags in the street. The closing bumper has a close-up of a wavy chequered flag. During Winter, the chequered flags gained a sky blue tint; the street is also filled with snow and a snowfall was added.
  • December 10, 2006-January 14, 2007, December 24, 2007-January 13, 2008: A close-up shot of lying Christmas balls in red, silver, gold, and blue colors with golden/white sparkles.

Technique: Live-action mixed with CGI and 2D computer animation.

Audio:

  • Main Version: A new-age synth pad sounder accompanied by a synth organ glissando. Until December 2005, there was also a voiceover by Alexey Neklyudov who says "Первый представляет".
  • New Year Variants: An airy synth tune with sounds of sparkles and a slow 4-note bell jingle. The closing bumper has a rearrangement of the synth/bell theme.
  • March 6-8 and May 1, 2006: A soothing synth pad with a piano/harp tune sounding similar to those from March 2004 break bumpers.
  • June 26-August 27, 2006: An airy synth pad with a peaceful piano (for the opening) or guitar tune (for the closing).
  • August 27-December 9, 2006: There were two music variations for the opening bumper.
    • Simultaneous sounds of a stopwatch and a racing car. It was replaced with the next variant below in September 2006.
    • A rhythmic techno arpeggio.
    • The closing bumper simply has a sound of a racing car.

The closing bumper includes an announcer as usual, though sometimes, he also adds "После программы "Время"!".

Availability: Despite this promo bumper's retirement in 2007, a New Year 2006-2007 variant was used for New Year 2007-2008 promos.

5th Bumper (September 1, 2007-August 30, 2009)

Opening Visuals: The screen opens in the same way as the previous bumper, but it contains a panning shot of clouds at daytime, and a square with the logo is absent.

Closing Visuals: Almost same as the previous closing bumper, but the white text is already there, with two square dots blinking one-by-one and a small text being in small letters, and the camera zooms into it against a different shot of clouds.

Variant: From April 27-May 2, 2009, in honor of Labor Day, the screen had a mirrored shot of a cloudy sky from the 1st Channel One promo bumper (although a bit brighter), where multiple pink petals fly in the air from the bottom-left. The closing bumper had a sky with small clouds at daytime and floating pink petals; the white text, which stays still, fades in the middle of the screen, with a white-outlined rounded square containing the Channel One logo below.

Technique: Live-action.

  • The closing bumper includes motion-controlled animation.
  • The Labor Day variant includes CGI animation.

Audio: An airy synth sounder which starts off with a synthesized "ding", with the closing bumper including a choir and an announcer. This particular tune made its debut on the ORT 2000 ident; it was composed by Sergey Chekryzhov using "Cricket Choir" sample from Spectrasonics' Distorted Reality 2 CD.

Audio Variant: The Labor Day bumper has a dreamy synth pad sounder with a harp glissando sounding similar to that of the Spring 2002 promo bumper, with the closing bumper including sounds of sparkles.

6th Bumper (August 31, 2009-February 28, 2011)

Opening Visuals: On a light gray background, there is a thick white border containing a large dark blue text, which is either "ВРЕМЯ", "ПОРА", "ШАНС", or "ПРАВО"; inside which are slowly rotating, four transparent squares in black, dark violet, green and blue colors. Below a thick border is a dark blue gradient background with several moving vertical stripes in purple and green gradients, a box containing the same gradient background with stripes at the bottom-right conrer, the white stacked text "свежего телевидения" (or "на свежее телевидение") at the upper-right corner below a thick border, and a white vertical line on the right side of the screen next to a gradient background. A border with a gradient background appears to be a part of a box which turns to the left 90° after a second to reveal the footage, in 16:9 ratio near the bottom of the screen, that varies depending on the theme of an announced program, along with the white bold subcategory text, in all caps, at the upper-left corner of it. When a box turns to the left, the same dark blue text slides in from the right to the middle above the footage.

Closing Visuals: At the top half of the screen is a white gradient background containing a royal blue text of the time of program's airing (with two dots between number blinking one-by-one), inside which are transparent, slowly rotating squares in black, yellow, pink and white colors (only when the text says the time), on the left; above the time text is a small, thiner royal blue text of airing date of the program or the name of a day of the week. Below the white background is a group of slowly moving dark blue/turquoise gradient vertical/horizontal bars (a la SMPTE color bars), taking up more space in the screen than the top half. Near the top-left of the bottom half of the screen, a group of white gradient horizontal bars, with each one containing a dark blue text of a day of the week, rapidly wipes in one-by-one, along with a transparent bar at the bottom-right, signifying a room for the Sunday text, next to a transparent square. One (or more) of the bars (including a transparent Sunday one) wipes to an orange gradient with white text, showing the day of the week on which the program will be broadcast.

Bumper Variants:

  • When the bold text says a date and month, the above text is absent.
  • When the channel announces a program broadcasting in Moscow time, the text "ВРЕМЯ МОСКОВСКОЕ" would be shown below a group of six bars.
  • Starting in 2010, the first half of the opening bumper with a phrase "свежего телевидения" was cut out, leaving the second half with a subcategory text.
  • New Year variants exist.
    • December 21, 2009-January 10, 2010:
      • Opening: A thick border is in dark blue gradient, a large text contained within it is bright blue and transparent squares (which are three) inside it are in white, pink and blue colors. A gradient background below a thick border is darker and most of the vertical stripes are in a crimson gradient; the stacked text also says "новогоднего телевидения". Above a thick border is a dark royal blue background with a group of slowly falling variations of royal/cornflower blue snowflakes, with half of them being stylized with rings or sunbursts. After the transition to the part with a footage, the background behind the text is indigo.
      • Closing: The gradient background at the top half is navy; a group of vertical/horizontal bars below is in various shades of a blue gradient, with a bigger one, located behind a group of six bars of days of the week, including a translucent group of snowflakes from the opening bumper. When the bold text says a day and month, it's white; and when the text says the time, it's light pink and contains slowly rotating, transparent squares in white, hot pink and teal colors. A gradient color that one of the bars wipes to is magenta. In the end, the screen transitions to black via a light blue snowfall, with a darker snowfall being revealed after the former one, shrinking down and leaving the black screen.
    • December 20, 2010-January 10, 2011:
      • Opening: Same as the 2009 variant (excluding the first half), but the background, where the above bold text is located, is cloudy-textured in dark/medium blue with a few small stars. The bold text is darker, and inside it squares (which became four again) are bigger than before.
      • Closing: Also same as the 2009 variant, but the whole background has slowly falling, bigger, different-looking snowflakes, with the navy gradient background at the top half being transparent. The text at the top half is bright blue with a close-up of a snowflake contained within it. A group of vertical/horizontal bars below is now still, transparent and frosty-looking in bright blue. The texts of days of the week, aside from one of them which wipes to a color gradient, are also much brighter. A transparent square next to a transparent bar is absent, just like in most other variants of the closing bumper.
  • In the International Women's Day variant, the background above the footage has a light blue gradient; the bold text is also pink, and inside it, transparent squares (which are larger) are in white, deep pink and crimson colors.
    • In the closing bumper, the background at the top half is in a light blue/white gradient, and the bold text is in the same colors as the opening bumper. A group of vertical/horizontal bars below is in various shades of turquoise; the texts contained within white bars are teal, and the color gradient that one of the bars wipes to is hot pink.
  • In the Labor Day variant, the background above the footage has a light green gradient; the bold text is white and inside it, transparent squares are in beige, pale green, lavender and turquoise colors.
    • In the closing bumper, the background at the top half also has a light green gradient, and the bold text is white. A group of vertical/horizontal bars at the bottom half is meadow in the style of New Year 2010-2011 variant. A group of six bars is transparent white, and the texts contained within them are dark green. A gradient color that one of the bars wipes to is yellow, and the bar gains its dropshadow when it wipes to a color.
  • In the Russia Day variant, the background above the footage has a light blue gradient; the bold text is dark red and inside it, transparent squares are in brighter shades of red.
    • In the closing bumper, the background at the top half is solid white, and the bold text has the same color as the opening bumper; a group of moving bars at the bottom half is in various, solid shades of blue, a group of six bars is in a transparent light blue gradient. A gradient color that one of the bars wipes to is red.
  • In honor of 2010 FIFA World Cup, in both opening and closing bumpers, the background at the top has a light blue radial gradient with transparent moving, curved stripes. The text at the top was also green and squares contained within it are in black, turquoise, crimson and brighter green colors. In the closing bumper, the bottom half has dark/lime green striped grassfield, on which a light green diagonal curve is depicted. The texts of days of the week, aside from one of them which wipes to a color gradient, are also in dark green. The color gradient that one of the bars wipes to is orange.
  • For promos of the vertical series line-up in 2010 (mainly when serials are announced from Monday to Thursday), the closing bumper has its custom variants for them.
    • The first listed are variants with names of days of the week: On a solid color background with moving, wiping bars of transparent darker shades, the white text of a Russian name of a day of the week wipes in from the left via one of the bars in the middle of the screen, along with an outlined, rounded square containing the Channel One logo at the bottom.
      • Colors for days of the week:
        • Monday: red.
        • Tuesday: orange.
        • Wednesday: yellow.
        • Thursday: green-yellow.
    • Another variant is in the style of a regular closing bumper. The background at the top half is solid white, a group of bars below is in various shades of light gray; the bold text at the top half is also light gray, with transparent squares inside it being in black, green-yellow, yellow and red, and the small text above, along with names of days of the week on bars (as well as a bigger text when it says a date and month), is in darker gray. The color gradient that one of the bars wipes to is the same as one of the backgrounds from the bumpers that only contain a name of a day of the week.
      • Sometimes, the gray text "все серии на www.1tv.ru" wipes in at the upper-right corner, with URL being located on a transparent bar.
  • In the National Unity Day variant, the background above the footage is solid white, and the bold text contains a purple-tinted version of the footage.
    • The closing bumper is the same as the Russia Day variant, but the background at the top half is in a light blue gradient; the bold text is magenta, and the color gradient that one of the bars wipes to is deep pink.

7th Bumper (March 1-7, 2011)

Opening Visuals: A similar concept to the previous bumper. At the top half of the screen is a large circle next to a square on the right, containing another large circle, and two more circles at the bottom, all of them which have moving teal-black-orange gradients. On the left side of the top half background is the white bold text (e.g. "Обсудим" or "Поздравим") suitable for the topic of an announced program. At the bottom half, which takes up more space in the screen than the top half, is the same footage from the previous bumper.

Closing Visuals: On a light yellow background, there is a bottom view of a slowly rotating, flat-shaded tree in a green-cyan gradient, along with several small translucent circles. At the top half of the screen, there are also dark/bright transparent gradient bars connected to each other, making a group of six horizontal bars (which also turn translucent at random), in a white gradient, containing black bold texts of days of the week near the left, along with a horizontal bar below on the right side of the screen, signifying a room for the Sunday text. One (or more) of the bars already has an orange gradient, with the text being white, showing the day of the week on which the program will be broadcast. At the bottom-right corner of the screen is the black thin text (either of the time of program's airing, or date and a month when the text is bolder), with two dots blinking as usual; inside the text are slowly moving, translucent indigo/purple stripes. When the text says the time, above it is a small text saying a date and a month.

Technique: A mix of CGI and 2D computer animation.

Audio: Same as the previous bumper (or at least for the opening bumper, abridged versions of the themes from the previous bumper's later variant).

8th Bumper (March 8-August 28, 2011)

Opening Visuals:

  • March 9-May 31, 2011: On a light yellow background, there are thick spiral-like curves with moving shady orange-black-green gradients. On the right side of the screen, there is also a group of three white thin, forming outlined curves in shapes of a flower.
  • June 2011: Almost same as above, but thick curves had moving black/crimson/red/pink/light yellow shades, along with a group of pale green wiping semicircles (and their separate white outlines) on the left side of the screen.
  • June-August 28, 2011: Almost same as above, but the curves contain zooming photos of yellow dandelions, with a yellow-ish-aquamarine gradient tint, overlapping over each other. The screen also has a split between four screens, with the bottom part being shorter than the top one, and two thin white lines on the split, as well as a group of wavy horizontal lines appearing at the bottom-right corner.

Closing Visuals:

  • March 9-June 2011: Almost same as the previous bumper, but a large text at the bottom-right is bolder; vertical connected bars are also absent, leaving the horizontal ones on the right side of the screen, with first three white bars (in a vertical order) containing the texts being stretched-out to the left. One (or more) of the bars has a hot pink gradient. The text at the bottom-right corner is also bolder.
  • June-August 28, 2011: Same as above, but now, the rest of connecting transparent bars are absent, along with translucent circles in the background, and first three white bars containing the texts remaining back to normal. Inside a flat-shaded tree are slowly moving, overlapping dark/bright green Maple leaves. The text at the bottom-right corner is also in a solid, translucent creamy color with its white "shadow".

Variants:

  • There is an alternate version of the first opening variant which has differently arranged curves.
  • In honor of International Woman's Day, the opening bumper had a shot of a flat-shaded tree from the closing bumper (just like both Labor Day and Russia Day variants), except it contained moving, overlapping violet flowers, and the background is solid white.
    • In the closing bumper, the background, along with a tree, had a translucent violet gradient. The text at the bottom-right also had a translucent purple background over stripes inside it.
  • A Labor Day variant (April 30-May 2) had red/pink flowers contained within a tree.
    • In the closing bumper, the background had a transparent red gradient; the text at the bottom-right was solid light orange, and one of six bars had a green-ish turquoise gradient.
  • When the text (in the closing summer bumper) says "СКОРО", a group of six bars is more transparent.
  • In honor of Russia Day (June 9-13), a flat-shaded tree contained a blue-tinted footage of a cloudy sky with moving daisy flowers.
    • In the closing bumper, one of the bars was red-ish, and the text at the bottom-right was translucent red.

Technique: 2D computer animation; with live-action photography for the opening summer bumper, and CGI for both closing spring and summer bumpers.

Audio: Same as the last two bumpers, but starting on July 11, an announcer is excluded.

Audio Variants:

  • International Woman's Day variant:
    • Opening: The theme of a dreamy synth sounder with harpischord notes from the 6th Channel One promo bumper.
    • Closing: The spring 2006 theme from the variant of a 4th Channel One promo bumper.
  • Labor Day variant:
    • Opening: Same as the International Woman's Day variant.
    • Closing: A soothing piano tune variant from the 6th promo bumper.

9th Bumper (August 29, 2011-August 31, 2012)

Opening Visuals:

  • August 29-November 20, 2011: Over a cloudy sky at daytime (one of the footages from a video pack "White Puffy Clouds", or sometimes "Sky Effects", by "Artbeats") are falling red/orange/yellow Maple leaves, and a zooming-in segmented, geometric glass shape reflecting the screen.
  • November 21, 2011-February 29, 2012: Over a cloudy sky (different from the bumper above), with a sun near the top-left corner, is a group of turning horizontal glassy stripes reflecting a snowfall in the background. Sometimes, instead of glassy stripes, there is a horizontal, segmented, geometric glassy shape with large snowflakes appearing; on the left side of a segmented shape, there is a snowfall reflecting through it. This particular concept of the bumper would also be used later for spring/summer bumpers below.
  • March 1-August 31, 2012: Almost same as an alternate variant of the opening winter bumper above, but the color of the background looks more saturated; and instead of a geomertic glassy shape, there are several moving, connected transparent triangle shapes (with snowflakes being absent as well), with some of them containing one of the following shots, mostly over a blue sky:
    • March: Icicles and the close-up shot of a drop in the puddle.
    • April 1-28: Willow branches.
    • April 29-May 3 (Labor Day): A close-up of tulips.
    • May 4-31: Gypsophila flowers.
    • June 1-August 31: A close-up of a grass with water droplets.

Closing Visuals:

  • August 29-November 20, 2011: Almost same as the previous bumper, but the background has a gray-ish sky blue gradient, the text at the bottom half is translucent bright yellow, the bars at the top are less wider, with one of them being simply solid hot pink, and the texts contained within them are black. There are also a few slowly wiping horizontal bars in the middle of the screen, containing the footage of a cloudy sky. Inside a flat-shaded tree, there are few slowly moving splits, arranged around all of the bars, between footages of the same cloudy sky and branches with yellow/orange leaves.
  • November 21, 2011-February 29, 2012: Same as above, but one of the bars wipes to a gradient again, which is sky blue, the text at the bottom-right is translucent white, and a flat-shaded tree contains a different footage of a cloudy sky (along with wiping bars), and tree branches with cherry berries over a bright sky.
  • March 1-31, 2012: Almost same as above, but the background is a slowly-sliding-to-left shot of icicles with trees over a gray-ish sky, with a flat-shaded tree (as well as wiping bars containing a cloudy sky) remaining there, albeit in transparent black, wiping bars contain a different footage of a cloudy sky, and the text at the bottom-right being in a red gradient. A gradient color that one of the bars wipes to is turquoise.
  • April 1-28, 2012: Same as above, but instead of icicles with trees, the background consists of a group of slowly moving willow branches over moving split bars, containing the footage of a cloudy sky timelapse on the left side and branches in the street on the right side, contained within a transparent tree on a gray-ish sky blue background. The text at the bottom-right is solid white and its "shadow" is excluded.
  • April 29-May 3, 2012: Same as above, but the background is a close-up of slowly moving tulips, with some of them being contained within a tree (which also contains a cloudy sky) on a light blue background, with several transparent white horizontal bars and thin lines. The text at the bottom-right has the same color as it had in the autumn 2011 bumper. A gradient color that one of the bars of days of the week wipes to is slate blue.
  • May 4-31, 2012: Same as above, but the background has two slowly moving Gypsophila flowers against a flat-shaded tree, containing another Gypsophila flowers, over a cloudy sky. Like before, there are few moving bars (with separate white outlines) containing a cloudy sky. The text at the bottom-right is in the same color as it was in the March bumper (though in the May bumper's earlier days, it was solid salmon). A gradient color that one of the bars of days of the week wipes to is orange.
  • June 1-August 31, 2012: Same as above, but the background is a close-up of grass with water droplets, with a flat-shaded tree being in transparent white, and a few connected thin lines with segmented bars around the screen, containing the footage of a cloudy sky as usual. The text at the bottom-right is in a lime green gradient, and a gradient color that one of the bars of days of the week wipes to is yellow.

Variants:

  • For the autumn 2011 opening bumper, one of its variants has a group of leaves rushing from the bottom to top and then fall in the air; a geometric glassy shape is also absent in this variant.
  • There are also few autumn 2011 opening variants which simply have two/three Maple leaves and zooming-in glass panes.
  • When the channel announces a program broadcasting in Moscow time, a transparent white line, containing the white text "ВРЕМЯ МОСКОВСКОЕ" would be shown below the text at the bottom-right.
    • Sometimes, however, the same text, albeit in white thin font, is seen below a group of six bars.

Technique: A mix of live-action and CGI animation.

Audio:

  • August 29-November 20, 2011:
    • Opening: A soothing 2-note piano fanfare accompanied by a string piece, or sometimes a calm piano tune variant from the 6th promo bumper.
    • Closing: A soothing piano/string piece based on the opening bumper theme. In rare cases, the closing bumper theme from the last two bumpers would be used.
  • November 21, 2011-February 29, 2012:
    • Opening: A peaceful piano tune based on the TV channel break bumper of the time.
    • Closing: Same as the autumn 2011 bumper, but sometimes, the theme is slightly rearranged.
  • March 1-May 31, 2012: The closing bumpers have a soothing, dreamy synthesized piano sounder based on the spring 2012 break bumper, or sometimes a background piece from the program. The opening bumpers' themes are listed below.
    • March: Either a soothing piano tune from the 6th promo bumper, or a soothing synthesized piano piece, based on the closing bumper theme, with a warbling flute.
    • April-May: Either a portion of a soothing piano jingle from the 6th promo bumper, or the closing bumper theme.
  • June 1-August 31, 2012: A synth pad with a piano tune from the summer 2006 variant of the 4th promo bumper, or sometimes a background piece from the program.

10th Bumper (September 1-30, 2012)

Visuals: There is a close-up shot of tree branches with yellow leaves (or a panning shot of tree branches with orange leaves). A group of small growing dark blue squares forms a border near the middle of the screen, which later wipes out to the right piece-by-piece as more small squares appear above reflecting the footage.

Technique: A mix of live-action and 2D computer animation.

Audio: The autumn 2011 opening bumper theme.

Final Note: Starting in autumn 2012, the generic closing promo bumper is no longer in use; instead, 13-15 seconds before the name of the program/movie/series, a table with the desired date, time and days of the week is formed at the bottom-left corner during the promo of a program. It was shown on the promos until possibly 2019, while most of the time (and currently), in custom-made, stylized promos, the time (which is set in the ITC Lubalin Graph Bold typeface), date (which is set in the Franklin Gothic typeface) and logo of the channel are shown immediately after the name.

11th Bumper (October 1, 2012-August 31, 2014)

Visuals: There is a close-up of a person's eye opening. There are many variants of this bumper.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The autumn 2011 opening bumper theme.

12th Bumper (September 1, 2014-August 31, 2015)

Visuals: There are several variants of this bumper, but they mostly involve an animated sequence of an eye opening:

  • A stencil shaped like an eye is placed on white paper and blue paint is applied, after which the stencil is removed to reveal a drawing of an eye on the said paper.
  • A flip book animation of a pen-drawn eye opening on the notebook (where various entries can be shown).
  • The eye of a blue human sculpture is shown in close-up, with a spotlight flying around it in the darkness.
  • A white-outlined minimalistic eye is shown on a blue background, which zoomed in at the beginning and blinked once.
  • The human eye is drawn independently with black paint on the canvas.

Technique: Live-action; 2D computer animation for the variant.

Audio: The autumn 2011 opening bumper theme.

13th Bumper (September 1, 2015-August 31, 2019)

Visuals: On a colored checkerboard-esque background, there are multiple overlapping circles settling themselves on each square/bar of the background, with several striped lines flying away from the screen. There are also eight larger, translucent circles settling themselves over the smaller ones. The colors of the bumper depend on the season.

Season Colors:

  • Spring: White/dodger blue for the background; darker blue/turquoise for circles.
  • Summer: Light/sky blue for the background; same colors as the spring season for circles.
  • Autumn: Dodger/dark blue for the background; medium blue/crimson for circles.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The autumn 2011 opening bumper theme.

14th Bumper (2022-)

Visuals: A sped-up version of the current Channel One production logo, but the logo is already formed and the screen fades out after appearing in the last second.

Variant: Sometimes, the logo gains a shiny glossy texture.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: None.
