Background
Cherry Japanimation was a South Korean home video distributor specializing in anime series.
Logo (2001)
The video of this logo may be too loud or severely distorted. |
Visuals: On a black background, a light occurs, revealing the half of a red sphere on a close-up. The sphere soon zooms out to reveal itself being a cherry, and the footage fades to a white word "Cherry" sliding across it with a water blob on it. It fades to a hand-written white word "japanimation" doing the same animation, but sliding across two water blobs. It fades to a complete cherry zooming out and a light wiping in the aforementioned word. Four white raindrop shapes then flip in, and a red object zooms out with a trail effect and flipping in afterwards to reveal itself being the word "Cherry". The background turns white.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A peaceful chime & trumpet tune accompanied by a whoosh when the words animate.
Audio Variant: Sometimes, a distorted futuristic synth tune with a whoosh and a high-pitched whistle is heard.
Availability: It was reported to appear in a Korean VHS of Tenchi Muyo! In Love as well as Kareshi Kanojo ni Jijou (aka 비밀일기 in South Korea) and Gakkou no Yuurei.
