Background

This is the production company of actor Bruce Willis and his talent manager Arnold Rifkin, founded in 1999. While it produced films that involved Willis, Cheyenne also produced films and shows without him. After Willis and Rifkin ended their partnership in 2007, Rifkin took Cheyenne with him. The company hasn't released any new material since 2020.

Visuals: On a dark sand background, there is a glowing red runic figure, looking like a stick with a circular end, and two lines crossing it. A cloud of flame envelops it, and vanishes to reveal a dragonfly, which begins to move and wipe the sand by its wings. The word "C H E Y E П П E" appears from the wiped sand. The "H" has an extra line, and both "П"s are used to represent "N"s. Then the dragonfly sits between the "П"s and turns back into the rune in a cloud of flame. The background, consisting of star-like particles, glows a little.

Variants:

  • On Gary the Rat, the logo is still.
  • On Full Throttle Saloon, the logo begins as the dragonfly turns into the rune.
  • A prototype version exists with more limited animation.
  • An in-credit variant appears at the end of Sacrifice.

Technique: CGI. Likely designed by Noam Dromi.

Audio: An ethnic composition (by James Newton Howard) with drums, culminating at the second transformation of the dragonfly. Sometimes, it has the opening/closing theme of the movie/show or silence. The prototype version featured a different composition with a pan flute and wordless male chanting.

Availability: Seen on Tears of the Sun, The Whole Ten Yards, Hostage, Just My Luck and Origin Unknown. This isn't seen on Hangman.
