1st Logo (1991-1997)
Visuals: On a black background is a still version of the Children's Television Workshop "Sparks" logo from 1983-1997, colored in white, with no game indicator whatsoever. Also, the text is bigger than usual.
Variants
- Sesame Street Art Workshop uses a maroon background (due to a color scheme error).
- The logo is pixelated on most games, but is sometimes in HD.
- On Sesame Street Numbers, after a couple of seconds, the logo folds up and the camera zooms out to reveal that it is on a balloon, which, with a few other balloons, carries up Elmo (who is holding the balloons) and reveals the game's title card.
Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.
Audio: None or the opening theme of the game.
Availability: Seen on Sesame Street Letters, Sesame Street Numbers, Sesame Street: Let's Make a Word!, Sesame Street: Search and Learn Adventures, Sesame Street: Get Set to Learn, Sesame Street Art Workshop, and Sesame Street: Elmo's Preschool for PC.
2nd Logo (1998-1999)
Visuals: There is a still version of the 1997-2000 Children's Television Workshop "Play It Smart" logo on a peach background with Elmo or Big Bird in the upside-down semi-circle, with no game indicator whatsoever.
Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.
Audio: None or the opening theme of the game.
Availability: Seen on post-1998 reprints of games like Sesame Street: Elmo's Preschool and Sesame Street: Search and Learn Adventures for PC.
3rd Logo (November 15-30, 1999)
Visuals: Essentially just the 1997-2000 Children's Television Workshop logo without a game indicator whatsoever.
Variant: On the Nintendo 64 versions of Elmo's Letter Adventure and Elmo's Number Journey, the logo is still.
Technique: CGI by Pittard Sullivan, like the regular logo
Audio: Same as the 1997-2000 CTW logo. The N64 version of Elmo's Letter Adventure has the opening game theme playing over this logo.
Availability: Only seen on Elmo's Letter Adventure and Elmo's Number Journey for the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation.
