Background
China 3D Digital Entertainment Limited is a Hong Kong-based film production and distribution company founded in 2001 by Stephen Jr. Shiu Ting-yat, son of Stephen Shiu Yeuk-yuen. It later purchased assets of HMV's Hong Kong business and renamed as HMV Digital China Group Ltd in 2016. It later renamed as China Creative Digital Entertainment Ltd in 2019. The company had also purchased most of the shares of home video distributor Panorama Entertainment in 2017, and became China 3D's subsidiary.
1st Logo (August 19, 2011-2017)
Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with glasses flying and after, a general appears putting them. Then he waves a modified Chinese flag. The company name in both English and Chinese zoom-in in a perspective effect.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A modern synthesizer mix of the music from the logo of Johnny Mak Production (the company which its founder/film director Johnny Mak, was the frequent collaborator of Stephen Shiu Sr. in 1970s to 1990s), or otherwise a seperate tune.
Availability: Seen at the beginning of China 3D's releases prior to 2017.
2nd Logo (May 11, 2017-)
Visuals: Over a black background, the logo starts with film shots in which, the same general from before puts on the glasses and waves the same modified Chinese flag. The name of the company wipes in.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: A musical flourish along with the sounds of the flag waving, or silence.
Availability: Seen on China 3D releases since 2017.
Legacy: This logo was used after the company purchased the assets of HMV's Hong Kong business.
