Background
China Lion is a Chinese-American film company.
(2012-)
Logo: We start with a scene of silver paper. A curved shape is then cut, revealing gold paper underneath. We then see more curved shapes being cut, as we cut to a different scene, which is revealed to be a cut-out of a golden lion with an orb in its paw looking to the left. Below is the golden text:
The company name in handwritten Chinese is seen beside the "A" and "N". The background then becomes brown, the lion turning more yellowish, and the text in white.
Variant: On Netflix prints of Extinct, the logo is cut short.
Technique: Amazing CGI, like many other East Asia.
Music/Sounds: A traditional flute fanfare which rises.
Availability: Current. Seen on films such as Extinct.
