Background: Chris Bearde Productions was an independent production company by Chris Bearde; known for co-creating and co-producing The Gong Show with game show producer Chuck Barris.

Note: This was the production logo for producers Allan Blye and Chris Bearde both of whom co-produced shows such as The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour and the 1st season of That's My Mama.

Logo: Just an in-credit logo for production credit for producers Allan Blye and Chris Bearde that reads:

Variants:

   On the first episode of That's My Mama, the text is right aligned. The remaining episodes from season 1 are centered aligned.
   On That's My Mama, an "In Association With" notice accompanies this logo underneath.


FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: Only the end title theme from the show. On The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, the song "I Got You Babe" plays and the end title theme song from That's My Mama.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on only the 1st season of That's My Mama and The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, the former is currently seen on TV One.

FX/SFX: The scrolling of the text.

Music/Sounds: Only the end title theme of The Gong Show.

Availability: Extinct and was only seen on the first two seasons of The Gong Show (whenever GSN decides to rebroadcast it).

1st Logo (September 15, 1984-1986?)

Logo: As the credits of the show fly away, a red sun rises on a dark background with stars on top and a brown grid. Then, the text

CHRIS BEARDE Productions zooms in from the sun and onto the grid.

FX/SFX: The sun rising and the text zooming in. Typical 1980's design.

Music/Sounds: The end title theme from the show.

Availability: Extinct. Appeared on early episodes of Puttin' on the Hits and its spin-off Puttin' on the Kids.

2nd Logo (1986?-September 15, 1989)

Nicknames: "The Boomerang", "The Silver Boomerang"

Logo: The credits from Puttin' on the Hits or The New Gong Show flip away, revealing a drawing of a brown plain with a mountain in the center, not too soon after that, a Chris Bearde: 1984silver boomerang suddenly appears, flying around, eventually revealing this text:

FX/SFX: The credits flipping away, the boomerang, the text being revealed, and the shining.

Music/Sounds: A series of whooshes as the boomerang flies around, followed by a "gliss" sound after the name is revealed.

Availability: Extinct. Appeared on Puttin' on the Hits and The New Gong Show and the 1987-88 version of Truth or Consequences.

3rd Logo (July 16-December 31, 1995) Chris Bearde Productions (1995-1997)

Logo: We see the name "CHRIS BEARDE PRODUCTIONS" flying in from the right with the name "CHRIS BEARDE" in goldish-yellow color and the word "PRODUCTIONS" in a white font on top of a blue code-out bar, all on top of a light-blue scratchy background.

FX/SFX: The logo flying in.

Music/Sounds: The end title theme from the show.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on the first season of Sherman Oaks.

4th Logo (June 16, 1996-January 12, 1997) Chris Bearde Productions (1996)

Logo: On a gold marble background, we see the names "Chris" and "Bearde" in a bold font slide in from opposite sides, with parallelograms next to each name. Then, the word "productions" appears by zooming outward below.

FX/SFX: The texts appearing.

Music/Sounds: The end title theme from the show.

Availability: Extinct. Seen on the second season of Sherman Oaks.
