Background

Christian Television Network (or CTN) is a christian network that airs shows and music videos related to christianity. An international network exist named CTNi

Logo (1979 - late 1980s?)

Visuals: Against a shooting starfield, a blue grid below scrolls forward, then there is a gold, dual-lined "ctn" that zooms in, then stops, then glows for 2 seconds. The logo has the leg of the C extended toward the N, and the T resting above the leg, with a red cross in it. The letters sparkle and shine a bit.

Variant: A stretched variant exists and was seen on an airing of Becky's Barn.

Technique: 2D animation possibly done by a computer.

Audio: A deep synth theme with some "pinging" sounds to go along with the sparkling, accompanied by an announcer saying "The following is a presentation of the Christian Television Network."

Audio Variant: sometimes there isn't an announcer. This can be seen on shows like Becky's Barn for example.

Availability: It was seen on some Christian public access shows produced by the network, such as Joy Junction. The short variant is still preserved on airings of Becky's Barn on Smile TV, while the full version appeared on Joy Junction.
