Background

Chung Ngai Movie Production Co. was a film company from Hong Kong.

Logo (October 12, 1990-May 15, 1992)

Visuals: Over a blue gradient background, the logo starts with light on top of the screen causing 2 golden sideways semicircles to appear. Then the light glows brighter, the background flashes and a golden diagonal filmstrip wipes in with lights around the semicircles. Chinese text appears and lights up, and the English translation fades in below as the logo lights up again.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A synth fanfare made up entirely of KPM stock music tracks "Prestige Logo (c)", "Expectation" and "Prestige Logo (a)", all by Paddy Kingsland (the latter also used for Golden Book Video's first fanfare).

Audio Variant: On The Mighty Gambler, "Prestige Logo (c)" is left out of the fanfare, leaving only "Expectation" and "Prestige Logo (a)".

Availability: Seen on Fire Phoenix and some prints of The Mighty Gambler.
