1st Logo (1990)

Nickname: "Semicircle Meets the Filmstrip"

Logo: On a blue gradient background, we see light on top of the screen causing 2 golden sideways semicircles to appear. Then the light glows brighter, the background flashes and a golden diagonal filmstrip wipes in with lights around the semicircles. Chinese text appears and lights up, and the English translation fades in below as the logo lights up again.

FX/SFX: The semicircles, the filmstrip and the text.

Music/Sounds: A synth fanfare made up entirely of KPM stock music tracks "Prestige Logo (c)", "Expectation" and "Prestige Logo (a)", all by Paddy Kingsland (the latter also used for Golden Book Video's first fanfare).

Availability: Seen on Fire Phoenix.
