Background

Cinema City is a Chinese cinema chain founded in 2014 by Raymond Wong. It is not to be confused with the other Cinema City companies, which are completely unrelated.

1st Logo (2014-Present)

Logo: We see 2 C's spinning like a sphere, with their reflections above. They come together in one direction, and spin for a little before moving left and right. CINEMA CITY forms afterward, as the golden glare in the background dies down.

FX/SFX: The C's forming, and the glare in the background.

Music/Sounds: A bling sound effect followed by a quiet choir theme, ending with a single piano note.

Availability: Common. Seen as a bumper on the films shown in their cinema, including The First Girl I Loved, The Addams Family 2, and My Country, My Parents. It is also seen as a print logo on the bottom left of their website.

Legacy: The logo is pretty good, and overall a great attempt to bring the Cinema City name to cinemas.
