Background

Cinematheque was a South Korean home video distributor.

Logo (Early 1990s)

Visuals: The sequence starts with footage of an unidentified, CGI-animated countdown animation starting from 10, set on a grainy black background with multiple shapes moving around the screen. Once the countdown reaches 4, an image of a clapboard with the text with RGB stripes and the blue Hangul "시네마떼끄" fades in front of the footage. At the end, the numbers disappear, the background turns into a ripple, and a small part of the original text/logomark shown on the footage is shown peeking at the left of the overlaid logo.

Technique: The footage, along with fading effects.

Audio: An upbeat, ascending corporate-sounding fanfare (most likely the same music used in the footage).

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]
